Why Mersonacta?
We live, breathe, and worship music. Playing music is not a job for us, it’s a passion. With years of experience playing professionally, we have performed all over Northern California for weddings, corporate events, and private parties. We are one of the few existing quartets in Sacramento that offer unparalleled music selection and quality music at an unbeatable rate.

Is there a deposit?
Yes, the deposit is $160. It is due at the signing of the contract of service/agreement.

How does the process work?
First you have to let us know when the event is, where it is going to be, how long you need our services for, and what kind of music are you looking for. If you decide that you want our services, simply let us know that you’re ready to lock down the date by signing an agreement with us. Meanwhile, you can email or call us anytime for additional information, or come to hear us play at one of our free auditions before we begin the agreement process.

Do you guys offer duet or trio service?
Yes. Please contact us for more details.

Can I still book you guys even if the event is only a week away?
Yes. Although our availability might be limited, but do contact us and find out!

What kind of music do you guys play?
Depends. We are very flexible in this field. We can play anything from Mozart to Lady Gaga. Please take a look at the repertoire link on the left for the extended song list in PDF to see a complete listing of the songs we have available.

Can I hear you guys play before I hire you?
Yes. You may attend one of our auditions that we usually hold on a monthly basis between the months of Februrary and May for our potential clients at a given specific time and date. These auditions are free to public.

How long should I hire you for my event?
Most events range between the 2-3 hour span, while most wedding ceremonies are only 1 hour. We only need about 10 minutes to set up every time and a 5 minute break for every hour we play. We are more than happy to pause to accommodate speeches, toasts, or other events in your schedule.

What if I have a special song that I want you guys to play during the event?
We would more than happy to play that special song for your event. If you already have sheet music in string quartet format, we can play those almost immediately. If you have the sheet music of your song in a different format (such as piano or guitar), we can arrange the music ourselves to make it fitting for our quartet for an additional fee. However, please allow up to 28 days of notice if you want to request a special song that we do not have in our repertoire so we can arrange it for you.

What do you guys wear for these events?
Our formal attire is all black.
